This video shows the different relationships my roommates have with their parents. My first roommate’s parents are divorced, which he decides to speak about separately, the second struggles to find the positives as he does not like his parents much because they fight all the time, and third makes it sort of flowery because he does not see them often. They were interviewed separately, then reenacted by each other using the audio from the interviews to go overtop.

Hi Kellan, this is so much stronger – when you emphasize the re-enactments over the seated tv style interviews. The re-enactments really look like they are made by “roommates” – I’m glad they are wearing mainly their own clothes, and are awkwardly imitating their families. It becomes kind of sad as well as funny – creating an interesting video, with some tension in it.
The editing is strong – toggling back and forth from voice overs to script – and thanks to your agreeable roommates!
