As an anti-party intervention, performers read in a social environment while avoiding party engagement. The images highlight the contrast between an active party atmosphere to the protest of not socializing.

The Lens – Grace Esford

The Lens explores the relationship my father has to me as well as the relationship I have to the camera. The footage used is appropriated video from my father’s old videotapes that trace my development. Through this, my connection to the medium of video is emphasized.

Based on information collected through the public forum Reddit, the most dangerous address in Guelph, Ontario was located and became my destination. This image highlights a collection of data used to locate a place I should not be as well as images of the place and a receipt from a purchase while there.
