Hi Andrew, I like how you split the screens with your parents mirroring each other, giving each of them their own space and time to speak. It’s a compelling dialectic, and I appreciate your sensitivity to the gender disparities, and how the piece also is not just about your parents but the effects of immigrating, and of clashing ideas and cultures. Thanks to your parents for participating, while it’s long – and could probably also work as a more condensed video – I think it’s a resolved piece you should definitely exhibit! Congratulations on all of your hard work on it.
