Hello & Goodbye -2018

This is a performance piece of Kelly performing silent gestures. The background and clothes are black so that the focus of the viewer is on the gestures. Kelly is bringing light to the silent language that is often used by most people. She performs actions like blowing a kiss, okay, shaking her head, nodding, resting her head on her hands, and many more consecutively for 12 minutes.

Kelly often uses the words “everything” and “nothing” to frame her work. In the video “108 Leyton Ave”, Kelly is preforming a split screen conversation between two people only using common phrases with the theme of nothing and everything.
